Pada Sebuah Kapal

After her fiancé, Saputro, dies in a plane crash, Sri marries Charles Vincent and they settle in Kobe, Japan. Although they have a child together, Sri does not truly feel happy with her life.

Unexpectedly, during a holiday trip from Saigon to Marseille, Sri reconnects with the intimacy and tenderness she has long yearned for, this time with Michael Dubanton, a married ship captain with two children. Sri, who has never loved her husband, begins an affair with Michael, who is also disillusioned with his wife, Nicole.
