"Si Cebol Rindukan Bulan" is a novel by Aman Datuk Madjoindo, aimed specifically at teenagers, particularly those experiencing love for the first time. First published by Balai Pustaka in 1934, it was subsequently reprinted in 1949, 1956, 1960, and 2006. The novel consists of five chapters: the first, "Penghulu Wijk X"; the second, "Jamu Bangsawan"; the third, "Pangkal Celaka"; the fourth, "Dapat Malu Besar"; and the fifth, "Sedih yang Tak Berkesudahan."

The story revolves around a girl named Fatimah, whose father, Engku Pandeka, is a wealthy man in the village of Ulakkarang. Fatimah's mother passed away when she was eight years old, and since then, she has been raised solely by her father, who did not remarry. Fatimah is given the freedom by her father to attend school, learn proper manners, and develop skills in sewing and embroidery.
